Non-Combustible Facades for Modern Architecture

What Does “Non-Combustible” Mean?

Non-combustible cladding refers to exterior wall materials that do not ignite, spread flames, or contribute to fire growth. This type of cladding is essential in preventing upward fire spread along building exteriors, which could otherwise allow flames to reach upper floors and create secondary fires inside the building. By using non-combustible materials for cladding, as required by many building codes worldwide, buildings are better protected from the risks of external fires spreading vertically.
