Hume Alexandria will open from Monday 23 August, 2021

To all HUME customers,

We have always prioritised the safety of our staff and customers, and in these uncertain times, this is no different. That’s why we are practicing and enforcing best practices for social distancing during COVID-19.

We are pleased to confirm that from Monday 23 August, 2021 our Alexandria store in Sydney will be open. However, we will be with reduced operating hours Mon-Sat 6am-3pm. To minimize the Covid-19 risk to our staff and yourself, the way we trade from Monday 23/08/201 will have few below changes.


Please NOTE: If you live in below local government areas of concern (LGAs), you must stay home, ONLY leave your home if you have a reasonable excuse (check NSW Gov website - https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/affected-area).

ONLY Pre-arranged pick-up and delivery is available from Monday 23/08/2021.

Before you enter to HUME store,

After you placed order, you will receive a sales order number from our customer service within 24hrs, please keep the confirmation number as you need when you collect the order.

Although we will do our best to serve you as fast as possible, please expect delays compared to our normal service period. We strongly recommend you place your order at least one day before you come to collect. And please be advised that will be NO CASH TRANSACTION in store. Any order changes in-store when pick-up may not be assisted straight away, so please confirm your order before you collect.

When you collect your order at HUME store, our dedicated staff will guide you to enter the warehouse ONLY if you provide them the sales order number.

  • Stop your truck/car at the entry, stay in the truck/car until our staff come to you.
  • Scan Covid-19 QR code and show us the green ticket.
  • Show our staff your order number, then follow attached “In-Store Pick up Instructions” to collect your order.
  • You must keep wearing the mask all the time even in the vehicle.
  • You also are required to stay in the vehicle when our warehouse loading goods.
  • During this special Covid period, for the best practice to prevent virus from spreading and reduce the contact between our staff and customers, we will not ask any customers to sign a POD. However, you need to check the docket carefully and confirm the goods are fully and correctly supplied before leaving site, please contact us within 24 hours for any issues.
